Recently honored as a 40 under 40 for Multichannel News, I’m an accomplished communications executive who makes a difference for individuals, teams, organizations, and communities. 

 

From being a member of a senior leadership team for Comcast Corporation—a Fortune 50 Company--to serving as the company spokesperson, to dramatically affecting employee participation in community impact events, I’m someone who top leaders and stakeholders count on to deliver outstanding results. 

 

Whether for business or non-profit organizations, I bring innovative ideas for changing hearts and minds through communication. I take out jargon and business-speak and create visual communications that make a difference. 

 

A storyteller at heart, I understand how to create communications to move businesses forward.

Known for my vision and creativity, I devise programs, communications, and inventive concepts to help a business communicate—whether internally to its employees or externally to its customers and community. 

 

My work is about not only PR and communications, but also business. I’m comfortable working in technology, operations, and finance, and at the same time, I have a reputation as an approachable and leader who brings out the best in others and has people align around a common vision.

Co-founder and Executive Director of ScaleUp America, a national nonprofit dedicated to changing the economic narrative across urban and rural America, connecting economically disconnected communities with local innovation ecosystems and promoting the 21st century economic vision of Inclusive Competitiveness. ScaleUp America is a commitment to the Clinton Global Initiative's High-Growth Entrepreneurship Working Group and partnered with the White House Tech Inclusion Roundtable and Microsoft in a pilot project: Activating Local Communities.

 

 

ScaleUp America is also coordinating a national Inclusive Competitiveness Summit series aligned with the objectives of President Obama's recently launched My Brother's Keeper initiative to empower boys and young men of color.
